The International Scholarship Programme was launched by Royal Commission for AlUla to world-class partner with the local AlUla community in building human capability by providing the youth of AlUla with world class educations internationally.
Over the next 5 years, with each round of the Scholarship Programme, 1,000 students of exceptional potential from AlUla will travel abroad to receive world class education and experience new cultures.
Overview of the programme
Phase 2 will be an extension of the overall programme and will partner with the local AlUla community in building human capability by providing the youth of AlUla with world-class education from the United States, the United Kingdom and France. The programme goes beyond educational opportunity by encouraging the students to engage in comprehensive cultural exchange so that they may return to AlUla with new and diverse perspectives that add value to the region and support the Royal Commission’s efforts.
Programme structure
The programme includes Diplomas, Bachelors and Masters degrees and can last up to five years depending on the programmme. The following areas of study in line with AlUla's development needs are included:
