About the Initiative
Aligned with the broader ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance quality of life and create thriving communities, AlUla is participating in the Global Quality of Life Initiative, implemented by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) with the support of Saudi Arabia’s Quality of Life Programme.
The initiative provides a broader framework for understanding quality of life across participating cities and communities. For AlUla, it brings together data, indicators and residents’ perspectives to strengthen the evidence available on current conditions, community needs and local priorities.
