Applicant Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- The selected winner must be able to commit approximately 8-10 hours to develop and finalize the composition (with technical support), this is likely to take place during the month following the winner’s announcement.
- You can apply regardless of your music ability level, whether you are a beginner or a professional.
- The applicant should be available mid June to attend the final judging day in AlUla if selected and required.
Application Eligibility Criteria
- Applications must be submitted by 15 May 2026
- The submitted composition must be original and composed by the applicant
- The duration of the piece must be between 30-60 seconds.
- The composition must reflect the spirit, identity and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and AlUla.
- The winning piece will need to be developed into a full composition that will be played in different locations across AlUla, adapting to technical requirements (guidance will be provided to the winner).
- Creativity and innovation in melody and composition will be key evaluation factors.Incomplete submissions or those that do not comply with the Terms and Conditions may be disqualified.
- The winner must transfer all intellectual property rights to the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU).
